Smarter Click & intent.ly is seeking a client success manager to join their client success team. Fluent in Mandarin and English, this role will be focused on the APAC market, working closely with the client success team and our regional manager based in Australia.

Reporting into our business director, the successful candidate will slot into our day-to-day offering of nurturing existing business, working predominantly on our top tier clients but also guiding our client success executives and managers towards growth of their low-to-mid tier client portfolios.

A typical day will involve closely monitoring your portfolio, being proactive to spot under-performing clients and putting technical steps in place to turn this around. As a ‘frontline’ employee you’ll be handling direct client requests, ensuring a timely response and positive solution.

You will be expected to reach out to your portfolio with our growling list of new tech features, generating buy-in from the client to run exciting campaigns with intent.ly. This will take the form of regular reports and reviews of campaigns back to the client along with recommended improvements and revenue projections.

If you’re doing all the above correctly, you’ll be successfully delivering against a specific set of KPIs, including monthly revenue targets and client satisfaction scores.

Role overview

A Client Success Manager is responsible for client retention and revenue generation across a portfolio of managed and optimised local and international clients.

A Client Success Manager helps own the client relationship and is responsible for developing and deploying tactical initiatives for intent.ly’s managed client portfolio. Commercial awareness, negotiation skills and the ability to help identify and drive business development opportunities are some of the key skills that we look for in this role.

In this APAC-focused role, you will work closely with our APAC team to ensure smooth transitions at the launch of a campaign and continued support in developing our client’s activity alongside the rest of the client success team.

Key responsibilities

  • Understand the business objectives of each of the clients in your portfolio
  • Report on client KPI’s and make recommendations for optimisation and growth
  • Closely monitor all client’s activity on a daily basis and be proactive if accounts are under-delivering
  • Be proactive with action plans and proposals of optimisation opportunities
  • First line of support for your client portfolio and agencies or networks connected to their programs
  • Network/Agency mapping, understanding who is responsible for different areas of the business, for example, sales, account management etc.
  • Be able to create & present forecast, optimisation and development plans for clients
  • Work with and support design team to ensure creative aligned to client’s brand guidelines and optimised regularly according to results
  • Ensure smooth set up and launch of all new clients, following brief from sales team
  • Support with finance requests and follow up on late payments from clients or agencies
  • Ability to deliver against specific KPIs including monthly revenue targets and profitability; client satisfaction based on feedback surveys; cross selling of campaign features.

The ideal candidate will have existing experience in digital marketing, with proven experience within a similar role preferred. Knowledge of affiliate marketing is preferred but not essential to the role.

Facing new challenges on a daily basis, you’ll need to be solution oriented from the get-go, be able to handle client queries (the good and the bad!) effectively alongside proficient organisational skills and attention to detail. The right candidate will enjoy facetime with clients (that’s offline as well as online!) and will be a competent communicator both internally and externally.

This job is predominantly a front-end focused role, so although back-end skills are not required, they will be beneficial and you will also be learning them while here.

Using basic JavaScript you will be helping the development team with support requests by applying updates and fixes to a clients website or scraping values from the DOM.
