Partnerships Manager

intent.ly is an exciting, sought after and multi-award winning martech.  We provide market leading customer conversion optimisation technology and we are looking for someone to join our rapidly expanding team as the new Partnerships Manager. 

Role Overview

The Partnerships Manager is responsible for establishing and developing business relationships with key individuals at agencies and affiliate networks.  In this critical role you will be constantly looking for ways to strengthen intent.ly’s relationships.  Your objective is to grow the volume of business we do through these partners.

Reporting to the Partnerships Director, you’ll be central in the commercial team’s effort to achieve an increased pipeline and the business’ revenue goals. This is a demand generation role so you will have the luxury of passing identified commercial opportunities over to the sales team to close.  This leaves you free to focus your time on the people and teams at the partnerships you are nurturing.  

You need to be very comfortable with travel in the UK and Europe, entertaining your contacts, representing Intent.ly ideas and developing yourself as an authority on Conversion Rate Optimisation.  You will be able to maintain professional relationships at all times and be ever mindful of intent.ly’s commercial objectives.

intent.ly are looking for a Marketing Executive who can join the team and will be involved in executing the marketing and PR strategy across their global markets.  The role will cover various aspects of marketing including delivery of processes, campaigns and copywriting, where you will gain a broad range of experience to support your ongoing growth and development.

You will be well versed in account management and client handling, alongside being a seasoned affiliate marketer with commendable technical and commercial knowledge of the industry’s workings.

Reporting into the senior client Success team, you will work to deliver growth across your client base and individual portfolio, conducting campaign reviews, quarterly business reviews, pitching for client budget and making recommendations for optimisation and growth to hit individual KPIs and wider business targets.

Request handling is an active part of the daily conversation with your clients, and by doing so you will be the front-of-house contact for your portfolio relationships. With this comes the expectation to translate client demands into internal requests and forward-thinking commercial opportunities.

Professional requirements 

  • Minimum two years’ experience as an account manager or an account executive in  digital marketing, preferably performance marketing

Role overview

A Head of Client success/Client Support has total responsibility for client retention and revenue generation from optimisation and cross-selling across a portfolio of managed and more self-service clients, building strategies alongside the Managing Director to ensure targets are met across the team.

The Head of Client success/Client Support will own client relationships alongside the team and is responsible for ensuring continual tactical initiatives are being deployed for their managed client portfolio alongside the client’s KPI’s and objectives. Commercial awareness, negotiation skills and the ability to identify and drive business development opportunities are some of the key skills that we are looking for in this role. You will need to understand the advertiser’s strategies and the challenges they face on a day to day basis and be able to support your team in delivering strategies within this remit.

The Client success team work closely with our business development team to ensure smooth transitions at the launch of a campaign and continued support in developing the client’s activity, the successful candidate will be confident in approaching internal relationships and be able to challenge established processes in the best interest of the company.

What does a typical day look like?

Ultimately as the Head of Client success/Client Support, you have full responsibility for our Client success Team and for our client’s satisfaction, as a customer focused company, the role is critical to our success.

This involves:

Manage, oversee and develop the Client success teams – both local and international

Set targets and KPI’s and ensure delivery of these for all business units within the company.

Understand and help lead road maps for development and support teams.

Deliver and maintain the culture of the business.

Recruitment where required and in line with resource requirements.

Ensure all roles have a clear and defined job spec and colleagues are measured against these job roles for their deliverables.

Team HR Management for all client success team, to include personal development, performance management, attendance and disciplinary process if required.

Identify risks and ensure appropriate strategies are in place.

Ensure processes are in place for all elements of a client’s life cycle with us and are being adhered to across all elements of the business, to deliver best practice and minimise error.

Protect and promote the business’s reputation in the industry alongside our marketing function.

Report into Managing Director weekly, attending manager’s meetings and other presentations where required.

Decide and help organise key events, awards, travel and marketing to increase company profile and take learnings for business & staff development.

Our core tech was built originally using PHP & MySQL on the backend but as we have grown, we are now starting to shift towards more AWS services such as Firehose, S3, Athena, SQS, DynamoDB, CloudFront and many more. However, there is still a significant amount of PHP & MySQL we use on top of the new AWS services.

Your Core Skills:

  • Knowing the LAMP stack very well
  • Excellent PHP with Object Orientated PHP
  • Strong with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Strong knowledge of NodeJS
  • Skilled in MySQL to easily create big SQL statements with multiple joins
  • Skilled in Presto query language for Amazon Athena
  • Able to easily use a Linux terminal
  • Management of Linux servers
  • A good understanding of serverless.com deployment
  • A strong understanding of AWS services including; Lambda, API Gateway, WAF, RDS, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, Route53, CloudWatch, CloudFront, Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, Kinesis, Athena, ElastiCache, SES, IAM, VPC, S3, Certificate Manager, Secrets Manager.

Beneficial Skills:

  • Any experience in Big Data or Machine Learning extremely welcome

The ideal candidate we are looking for is someone who has enough experience to be able to jump straight into a development role with minimal training involved (we will, of course, be teaching you how our systems work) – you will also have good people skills and enjoy working with a fun team.
